St. Pete Boutique Hotels Introduction

Are you looking for inspiration for a quietly stylish place to host your out-of-town, guests for your small, St. Pete wedding? This article will help you do just that, as it provides four St. Pete boutique hotels to host your wedding guests. These hotels are well-suited for a smaller guest count because they offer casual opportunities for guests to socialize, grab drinks and a meal, and are within a few minutes’ walk or drive to several wedding venues. Boutique hotels are especially well-suited for smaller weddings because they create natural overlap—running into guests at breakfast, lounging by the pool, or sharing a late-night mocktail. For each hotel, I share the type of couple the hotel is best for, the style and vibe of the hotel, places to eat and socialize on-site or near the hotel, opportunities for impromptu guest activities, transportation and venue options, sample wedding timelines, and any special things to note. I chose these hotels based on walk-ability, vibe, proximity to venues, vegetarian and zero-proof options, and suitability for weddings with 50 or fewer guests.

St. Pete Boutique Hotels Vibe

This historic St. Pete boutique hotel features a romantic, European art-deco style. Built in 1921, it was once owned by the Cordova family and originally named the Hotel Cordova. According to the hotel’s website the Cordova family’s head butler’s ghost, Geoffrey, still roams the halls of the original hotel. So, if you are a couple who loves a historic meets haunted vibe, then the Cordova Inn is the place for you to stay during your wedding weekend.

Eat

The Cordova Inn has many opportunities for guests to gather and get to know each other. The Scott St. Pete, a craft coffee and classic cocktail bar, is located on the first floor of the hotel where your guests can grab a Hogg Batch coffee, non-alcoholic chai spritzer, or a vegetarian avocado toast and sit in a teak rocking chair on the large veranda of the hotel.

Currently, the Cordova Inn has 32 guest rooms but is undergoing an expansion to add 62 new guest rooms, a ground floor restaurant, and a fifth-floor rooftop bar. The owners expect the expansion to be complete by February 2026. This will provide more opportunities for guests to gather and socialize without formal events.

Rema Merrick

Hi! I’m a St. Pete local, tiny wedding enthusiast, and long-time vegetarian. When I’m not researching or writing articles for The Petite Peoni, you’ll usually find me running along the waterfront at Vinoy Park, taking a hot yoga class, or enjoying a cup of coffee at Bandit Coffee in St. Pete’s Grand Central District. In a former life, I’ve been an insurance agent, flight attendant, and instructional designer—experiences that still shape how I approach storytelling and thoughtful celebration.
